I just tried changing the the split size in the file to 150 MB and it yielded 15 files :: GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.001 11-Mar-2008 11:50 95M GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.002 11-Mar-2008 11:50 96M GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.003 11-Mar-2008 11:50 93M GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.004...

The file split procedure seems to stop at all files at 56MB exact when in the file its mentioned to be 100MB. That's really strange.... It really breaks the heart when something comes to a sorrow end even after so much of progress. !

I run the file just now. . . . it has started working and creating files but its not doing it in proportion. I mean i had told it to prepare 100MB parts but its creating files with random file sizes : GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.001 11-Mar-2008 11:14 61M GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.002...

It worked and created a .001 file upto 56MB.... then it reported the following error : Splitting http://desi-instincts.com/Games%20(Latest)%20(2007)/GtASa/GTA%20San%20Andreas.part01.exe into 100 Mb files (last piece may be smaller in size) ... tmp/GTA-San-Andreas.part01.exe.001...

so you mean the source file's path : $file = "http://desi-instincts.com/Games%20(Latest)%20(2007)/GtASa/GTA%20San%20Andreas.part01.exe"; is ok right ??

Yes it is writable, i created a folder named "tmp" as declared in the script and then changed its permission to read, write as well as execute.
